What could be more fun to see than classical musicians dressed up in Halloween costumes playing spooky classical music? These concerts are great for the whole family. The popular music selections are easily recognizable and extremely enjoyable, especially when Snow White may be playing the flute! Here are 10 symphony orchestras from all over the U.S. performing Halloween classical music concerts for everyone in the family to enjoy.

1) Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
Conductor Frank M. Stein put together a fantastic program that takes us through the many moods of Halloween. Every orchestra member will be dressed in costume (children are encouraged to attend in costume too). With many familiar works on the program, this concert will be enjoyable for everyone.

2) Boise Philharmonic - Philharmonsters
Another great family concert. Again, the orchestra members will be dressed in costume and will be performing popular spooky classical music. As well as great music, the event offers a petting zoo, face painting, and musical games.

3) Chicago Symphony Orchestra - Hallowed Haunts
With pre-concert trick-or-treating, this Halloween classical music concert is sure to be a hit with the kids. Join the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and the Magic Circle Mime Company as they conjure up a phantom orchestra of the un-dead.

4) Kansas City Symphony - Halloween Spooktacular
Back by popular demand, the Kansas City Symphony once again plays popular classical music works of Halloween in full costume.

5) Walt Disney Concert Hall - Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror
With last season's success of Phantom of the Opera, organist, Clark Wilson returns to perform Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

6) Austin Symphony Orchestra - Halloween Children's Concert
This 45 minute concert is designed for children. They are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. The music being played is Peter Wolf and other short, familiar classical pieces.

7) Colorado Symphony Orchestra
On October 27, the Colorado Symphony Orchestra will perform an all-new Halloween classical music program. With pre-show activities, children are welcome to attend in costume. People of all ages will enjoy this Halloween celebration.

8) Utah Symphony - Halloween Legends
This is the Utah Symphony's 15th annual Halloween classical music concert. Unlike previous concert listings, the Utah Symphony hosts a costume contest. Participators are urged to come early to compete for great prizes.

9) Toledo Symphony - The Haunted Orchestra
What's great about this Halloween classical music concert is that it is staged. Dan Kamin plays a nerdy "Mr. Kirby" who doesn't believe in magic, but once the music starts, strange things begin to happen on stage. Join other's follow Mr. Kirby's adventure and enjoy works by Grieg, Handel, and more.

10) Dallas Symphony Orchestra - Halloween Thrills and Chills
Like the other orchestras, children are welcome to attend in costume. The orchestra members will be in costume, playing the popular works of the season. Again, arrive early to enjoy pre-concert activities.
